| 20% | Actively attend to in-class assignments; do this by writing drafts, performing / presenting completed assignments, helpfully critiquing peers’ work, etc. In-class work cannot be “made up.” |
| 30% | Submit three examples of each writing assignment, completing (and receiving instructor authorization on) your assignment checklist. Due every week. Submit all as a portfolio at our last meeting. |
| 20% | Submit three thoroughly revised creations for a grade; you will submit these compositions to outside audiences / poetry markets. |
| 10% | Participate in the midterm exam on the radio (or arrange for a substitution if that Wednesday at 5 pm time conflicts with another commitment). |
| 20% | Submit three responses to (or reviews of) creative performances (about 500 words each). |
