Course Grading

20% Actively attend to in-class assignments; do this by writing drafts, performing / presenting completed assignments, helpfully critiquing peers’ work, etc. In-class work cannot be “made up.”
30% Submit three examples of each writing assignment, completing (and receiving instructor authorization on) your assignment checklist. Due every week. Submit all as a portfolio at our last meeting.
20% Submit three thoroughly revised creations for a grade; you will mail these compositions to outside audiences.
10% Participate in the midterm exam on the radio (or arrange for a substitution if that Wednesday at 5 pm time conflicts with another commitment).
20% Submit three responses to (or reviews of) creative performances (about 500 words each).
